Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization: The resumption of Umrah depends on the acceptance of our country's conditions by Saudi Arabia

According to the public relations of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization; Ali Reza Rashidian on the sidelines of the White Tulips Congress on the occasion of commemorating the martyrs of Mina and Holy Defense Week, which was organized by the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, the Supreme Leader's Mission and the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization, told reporters about the launch of Umrah by Saudi Arabia. According to their announcement, the Umrah pilgrimage will be resumed by this country from the 13th of October. Approximately one million and 560 thousand people are predicted for Umrah this year.
He added: "The conditions of the Islamic Republic of Iran are first to guarantee the security, tranquility and dignity of Iranian pilgrims and to set up a consulate or office to protect the interests of Iranian citizens during their stay in Saudi Arabia, and until these conditions are met, they will be sent." Umrah journey is not done.
According to him, currently 5.8 million people are waiting for Umrah.
